HOMEMADE CREATIONS
On behalf of Ahman Green, Rodney Johnson, The Ahman Green Foundation, CARSTAR Collision Centers and R-Series Events, we want to
thank everyone who helped support the Ahman Green Dodge Charger Raffle.
In early May R-Series Owners Ahman Green and Rodney Johnson were trying to find a unique way to raise money for local families who
have endured through all sorts of personal tragedy in the Omaha and Lincoln areas. So it was decided that Ahman would give away his
prized signature University of Nebraska Dodge Charger and use it in a raffle
that everyone could participate in.
It was through this raffle that the RSeriesEvents.Com brand was created
where we would give the public all-access to not only the Charger raffle
but also all the other events that R-Series was putting on in the local area.
One of the first places the Ahman Green Dodge Charger was put on display
was at the 1st Annual Ahman Green Golf Tournament in June. There were
so many events and functions that wanted the Charger to be a part of, we
created the Dodge Charger Road Tour. We listed current and future dates
and locations where the public could some check out the Charger as well as
buy their $5.00 raffle tickets.
As part of the road tour the Charger made stops at the CARSTAR College
World Series House during the CWS week, Ralston Days, Shops @ Legacy
Show, Omaha Beef Football and several car shows. The Charger also made
special appearances at corporate golf tournaments, charity events as well as
special appearances at select businesses throughout Omaha and Lincoln.

of September, which gave more participants a chance to purchase a
raffle ticket as well as raise more money for the foundation.
On Saturday September 6, 2008 the finalists were invited to a private
event at Heidelberg's Sports Bar in Omaha Nebraska, where they
were all able to select a key in their hopes it would start the Charger.
The participants were treated to free food and drinks provided by
Heidelberg's and R-Series, as well as every participant received their
very own autographed Ahman Green football!
As part of the celebration Ahman and R-Series gave away two free
tickets to a Houston Texans game to sit inside Ahman's personal
luxury box, as well as two free nights hotel stay!
The main event of the day was the actual Charger giveaway which
ended when the person with the winning key started the ignition.

We were able to get to the ninth participant when Alicia Smith started the Charger with the winning key! It was obvious to everyone who was
at the event that Alicia was extremely excited to win the Charger, and this after we learned she was ill and only decided at the last minute to
attend the event!
The reason we started this raffle was to help those who have been or are dealing with some sort of tragedy in their life. We learned after
talking to Alicia that she is dealing with such tragedy as her son was the innocent victim of a drive by shooting in 2006 that has left him
paralyzed. Alicia went on to tell us how wonderful the people of Omaha as with help from several local companies, Alicia received a donated
van, a lift and remodeling to their home to hep facilitate her sons wheelchair. It is for this reason that Alicia decided to refuse the Charger and
never took ownership of the vehicle and instead asked that we use it in another way to help raise more money for local families in need. We
give Alicia and her family our thoughts and prayers and will honor her request to help more families in the area.
After the Charger was given away we had the drawing for the luxury box game seats and they were won by Daryl Scott of Omaha.
Again, we want to thank everyone for their time and involvement in this raffle. With your support and Alicia's decision to refuse the Charger
we are now able to help even more needy families. We hope you will continue to support R-Series and the Ahman Green Foundation through
our charity events that we have planned for the next year. So keep checking back to see when our next event is being held!
